Star Wars: High Stakes, a production of Lion's Mouth Entertainment, is a (fairly) new audio series based over a thousand years before the Galactic Civil War. Two starpilots are recruited by a Jedi to seekout the location of a hidden Sith strike base that continuously sends "hit-and-run" assault forces to Jedi/Republic-controled systems. It is the Jedi's hope that if the base cane be destroyed it will greatly cripple the Sith's military forces and leave them open for a full attack.
It is hoped that the two pilots will be able to carry the objective out with little difficulty, but they soon find that the Sith Empire is aware of the Jedi's scheme, and the two starpilots must dodge the Sith as they travel from planet to planet in search of information on the hidden base.
