PMRP: "Tomes of Terror II" Begins On-line Run

Following on the heels of last week's release of our live performance of Red Shift: Interplanetary Do-Gooder in Havoc Over Holowood!, the Post-Meridian Radio Players present the premiere of Tomes of Terror II, our 2007 live Halloween "staged-radio thrillogy".

The show begins its run as part of a three-part weekly podcast, The Post-Meridian RadioPod. PMRPod #1 features our recreation of an episode of the 1940s/50s series Our Miss Brooks, directed by Red Shift creator, Rob Noyes.

OUR MISS BROOKS: "Halloween Party" - "From the classic comedy series Our Miss Brooks, which originally aired on CBS Radio and starred Eve Arden and Gale Gordon. In this re-creation of a 1949 Al Lewis episode, Constance Brooks, English teacher at Madison High School, agrees to host her students' Halloween party in order to dunk for apples with Mr. Boynton, the science teacher for whom she holds a candle. But she hasn't figured on Principal Conklin's blood pressure!"

Tomes of Terror II will continue on The Post-Meridian RadioPod, so tune into www.pmrp.org this Friday, February 1st, for the premiere of PMRPod #2, featuring our second play from Tomes of Terror II, an adaptation of J. Sheridan LeFanu's gothic chiller, Carmilla.

Then come back on Friday, February 8th, as Tomes of Terror II concludes with our adaptation of William Hope Hodgson's sea-bound thriller, The Stone Ship!
