Okay, Sounds for Soldiers continues to climb slowly up the voting ladder for the Pepsi Refresh project. So we really need everyone to both vote daily, and tell all your friends if we're going to make it into that top-ten and send 10,000 audio CD's to men and women serving overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I've been hearing from several folks that the mechanics of Pepsi's website are a little confusing. This is how you vote:
1) Click on the 'Vote for this idea' button on the right side of the page
2) You'll be taken to a fairly standard log in screen where you give you email, password (or set up a password if it's your first time there) and fill out one of those security things where you have to read the twisted black letters (hint: if you can't read them, there's an audio link right below them where a nice voice reads you the words out loud)
3) When you clear that screen, you're taken BACK to the Sounds for Soldiers Pepsi page. At this point, I usually hear the sound effect of a soda being opened.
4) Now click on the 'Vote for this Idea' button AGAIN, and you've finally voted for Sounds for Soldiers. The 'Vote' button will now disappear to be replaced by the world 'Awesome!'
Thanks again, everyone. And remember, tell your friends! Vote early, vote often.
