I blame my 5th Grade teacher. He had transcription disks of Amos and Andy, The Shadow, and Suspense that hooked me waaaaaay back when....

I discovered CBSRMT at about the same time - Sunday nights at 10 PM......

After that, my story is a typical one of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a few audiobooks here and there, and the like....

Then, after many many many years, I rediscovered CBSRMT on the Internet Archive - and oh, so much more. ITunes didn't help any. After than and a couple of searches later, I found RelicRadio, BrokenSea, Darker Projects, and AudioDramaTalk, and here we are.

Stan Freberg's History of the United States Volume 1 set the bar and inspired a kid tuned in to Dr. Demento.


As far as legit Old Time Radio...The Six Shooter is one of the greatest and very inspiring.

I have links all over the place and belong to a few forums man. And have a 250g ext drive as well as my newer 1T ext my wife got me for christmas this year- and I hate seein them empty-LOL

I was even more new than a lot of you ..thinking there was nothing new under the sun in 50 years..
I discovered
"Wormwood" .....about 3 years ago..
"Darker Projects"......and then
found that old (now defunct) Drama Pod directory..and this forum..
and discovered all the new content mainly from this..
Kinda in reverse..I began to discover all the older great stuff too..
Vanishing point, Nightfall..CBS Mystery Theater..etc

Now I have an extra external HD devoted to AD..
I can't imagine now how I got by without it.
