Hmmm- well, the answer to that is going to be pretty much the same for us all here, I assume! There is a discussion on the Speak Up For Radio Drama Now! Facebook group in case anyone's missed it and is interested. I'm very sorry but I don't know how to link to it. I've tried again and it's the same link address, so I'd just suggest going there manually, unless Bohemianroxie has more success. Terribly sorry! | | | 05-08-2010 | #5 | | Audiofile bohemianroxie is offline Join Date: Aug 2009 Posts: 248 | http://www.audiodramatalk.com/f2-new...-now-5546.html That is the link to the thread..hopefully working I'm afraid if I link to the FB page directly that I might have the same problem Last edited by bohemianroxie; 05-08-2010 at 12:14 PM.. | | | 05-09-2010 | #6 | | Audio explorer fthrll is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Currently in Oxford, UK Posts: 247 | Many thanks indeed, Bohemianroxie. | | | 05-10-2010 | #7 | | Barbarian in need of Ale Bill Hollweg is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Texas Posts: 10,995 | Kiss of life! ;-) | | | 05-10-2010 | #8 | | Barbarian in need of Ale Bill Hollweg is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Texas Posts: 10,995 | If not for the net and a random search 4+ years ago for Dr Who info- as I had not seen the show since I was a kid- I would never have found Darker Projects, then Sonic Society and Westlake Films and Circus 13, and helped start BrokenSea- or ever attempted to mix an AD. Long live AD on the NET! WOOOOT! | | | 05-10-2010 | #9 | | Audio explorer fthrll is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Currently in Oxford, UK Posts: 247 | Hear hear, Bill. I suppose if it means will Internet Audio Drama outstrip Radio Drama listenership, well probably eventually - especially in the case of the Beeb. Its cutting back audio drama output just when internet audio drama is gaining more and more followers and mp3s are flourishing. But in terms of the actual art of Audio Drama - it's giving it the kiss of life - and biscuits & a hot cuppa on top. Long may it continue! | | | 05-10-2010 | #10 | | Barbarian in need of Ale Bill Hollweg is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Texas Posts: 10,995 | If we got BBC on the radio here-I'd be glued..Instead... nada really- or at least in Texas. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | | All times are GMT -5.
