Great list!
But wasn't Maudelayne and Twin Stars released originally in 2008? And I think we're up to five years for Red Panda and Black Jack now.. right?

We'd better clarify this. Is this supposed to be best NEW show of 2009, or best show that ran (released new episodes) in 2009?

Well, I've only listened to episode 1 of this one, after seeing it on SFF Audio, but what about:

http://www.novastarhunters.com/

Yes, it violates my rule about not getting interested in a show until they have released a dozen episodes... or at least got past the cursed episode #6... but it has some charms. Hasn't quite got the pacing down just yet, but fun so far.

Well, it's a four part story and all 4 are now out. Don't know about future plans.

Yes I'm going with brand spanking new shows that were released in 2009. New series. New episodes. Ect....
Not that our old favourites are old.. or that they don't continue to be released in 2009 and surprise us!
