Long Tale Tavern Episode 3 Now Available

Episode 3 of Long Tale Tavern - The Soul Drinker is now available at preyingmantisproductions.com

In this episode, titled The Mountains of the Moon, our adventurers sort through the ashes of the recent attack on Regaldale and formulate a plan to stop the lich. Spagon and the others set out on a trek to the mountains to enlist the help of a mysterious entity.

One suggestion, tho - closing credits. Or at least something to signal "episode over".

As for the closing credits, well, there's a reason we decided not to include them (though, there is a full cast list on our site for those who are interested). We just figured that the episodes were so short, it just didn't make sense to have a 15 minute play with 3 minutes of credits at the end of every one. We plan on having full credits after the final episode.

There is an audio cue at the end of each episode signaling "the end..." Listen for a unique music stinger at the conclusions. I use the same one in each episode and it's the only time you hear this stinger.

Maybe a little more closing music?

Mainly I'm mentioning it since there are times when downloads are interupted or something and you end up not sure if it was really over, or the sound just cut out.

I know it doens't happen that often (any more), but for those of us who it has happened to enough, it makes a difference to be certain that we got the whole story.

This is a good thing - If I wasn't enjoying it, I wouldn't be as worried that I'm getting everything...
