I LOVE carpenter's the Thing!

EFNY is one of my FAVE movies of all time as well Revolver! I love the dark feel and the gritty nature of the film and the soundtrack rox!

Hollar at me if you want an audio drama of The Thing done by an Australian Group a few years back. It's mono- but damn good!

Yeah im a big fan of Carpenters early stuff too darkstar,precinct13,halloween,the fog,thing and escape.escape bein deffinitely up there as one of my fave earth based sci fi movies.
He kinda lost his way a bit but prince of darkness and they live redeemed him.
Just feel a bit let down by him for takin the payday on the remake of the fog i felt when it was first mooted it was goin to be an event of a movie what with what can be done with fx today i thought we'd get a menacing monster of a fog and a merciless blake hungry for gold only what did we get a teenagers fog watered down to nothing.As for the remake of escape how the hell are they goin to do that new york just isnt the same place as it was then the whole zeitgeist of an era has packed its bags and moved on to pastures new,I just dont think its a goer and obviously gerard butler thought so too.Just give us an old snake in escape from earth:-(
Anywho back to the good stuff bein the mood,the music and the fx of carpenter,whch is deffinitely a period of time in cinema that will stand the test of time.

Update on Escape from New York. The scripts are all done and the casting for ep 2 closed today. Production starting in the next few weeks! WOOT!

I hope we won't dissappoint Crash! I adapted this one for audio and am directing this one and my buddy Brian of Seraphic Panopoly music fame <podsafe> is mixing it <and he rocks!>.

The auditions have been AWSOME! Heck- I am a HUGE fan of the movie <I don't count the second one-LOL>. And I am dying to hear it!!!
