Wow... I'm glad folks are thinking about us. Short story... we're still here. We did Alice in Wonderland in November - that's the last TRTC show performed. Personally, I'm kind of up to my gills in my day job and freelance theatre sound design (you know... stuff that pays money). I just finished Sherlock's Last Case for ICT Mainstage in Irving Texas I'm next working on a trilogy for Echo Theatre, followed by Around the World in 80 days for Rover Dramaworks. Before then, I'm traveling to Kansas City on Monday for biziness... You may say - hey... you guys have so many recorded plays, why aren't you broadcasting from your archives... Good question... lame answer. Well... We're currently not podcasting due to a massive cranial flatulation... or in laymens terms - a brain f@rt... See... Libsyn changed the way they had us upload to their site, and rather than read through what I needed to do differently - I moved on to other things that were more important at the time. So... I just never learned how to do it the new way. I still don't know. Sure... that's kind of lame, but that's why you haven't heard anything. Now - Schlock... or Son of Schlock - Hell I'd LOVE to get that off the ground, I've got actors that I can call up and record at the drop of a hat. I just don't have a hat to drop... or time to flesh out scripts. Now - that's not really a good excuse since I think I have a script from someone right now... (and a Mets cap is hanging on a peg about 3 feet away from this very keyboard) so I guess I could pull the trigger... just haven't quite done that yet... Must have been other stuff... like holidays... birthdays... work work work... stuff stuff stuff... lame lame lame... That's me right now. Believe me, doing radio theatre is WAY more fun and appealing... but you gotta does whatcha gotta does... and that's what I'm doesing... Last edited by Rich Frohlich; 01-17-2009 at 12:28 AM.. |
