I've decided to look at 19 Nocturne Boulevard as sort of like Tales from the Crypt (or The Love Boat) and try from time to time to get "name" folks from other audio dramas out there - as well as other entertainment fields - to add their voice to ours.

I know - everybody does it. I just decided to announce it.

Why? We focus a lot here on the writing, and the producing, but I'm also an actor and sometimes it feels like a lot of truly great actors aren't getting half the credit they deserve, particularly when we get so used to hearing them as this character or that one, and never think twice that they are more than just a single stock voice.

I may post here monthly, or more often. Depends on who I can talk into slipping recordings my way...

So my November guest star, making an appearance in our 11/20 episode, "The Deadeye Kid", is

Bill Hollweg of Broken Sea Audio!
He's in even a worse spot than most actors - while he is a very good character actor and plays all those unsung parts on his own shows, he is even more often stuck behind the scenes sweating blood to make the shows - from enormous battles to creepy blood-pool and dead cheerleader love scenes - sound just right.

Bill has kindly lent his talent to us as a crazy old hillbilly for the first episode of my ongoing western sub-series.

Michael Coleman joins us for our Xmas episode, which will be going live on 12/20.

He graciously allowed us to typecast him as a visitor to foreign shores - in fact, there will be a lovely bonus scene for those who know and love Little Dickie Broughton, adventurer extraordinaire!
