Oh, I don't think it will be bad. But the more I see of it, the more clear it is that this is not The Spirit... nor is it in any way in Will Eisner's style. It's Sin City Superhero. That's okay... I loved Sin City. But I hope someday someone makes a movie of The Spirit... cause this ain't it.

Funny, I had the same thought about this not being Will Eisner's the Spirit, but rather Frank Miller's "THE SPIRIT," which not remotely the same thing.

It will probably be smart, and gritty, and sexy as all get out. But while Frank Miller's take on Batman seemed (to me at least) to magnify those inherent Batman qualities, the Spirit doesn't seem to lend himself to looking through those same goggles. In my humble opinion, and all that rot.

As for the Shadow movie? oh, man. There were some gorgeous costumes and set pieces. That's about all I can say that's nice about it.
