Misfits Monday Newsletter 10-06-08
Attention all “Star Rabbit Tracks
” fans, we heard your cries to get another episode out to you. However I must warn you that this one is a little different. Mr. James Leeper was kind enough to write this one and, in my opinion, he did an outstanding job. I want to thank him for his help on this. I also must tell you that you may need a box of tissue close by. How about we just say, “Not wanting the U.S.S Digger to fall into the wrong, Captain Peter decides to go back to investigate further, but on route they receive a distress signal, but could it be a rabbit trap?” An original series, only at www.Misfitsaudio.com
Folks, a little heads up, I want you to know that we will be having a new series from the mind of Mike Murphy, a fantastic writer. If all goes well, you will hear his FIRST show for Misfitsaudio this coming Halloween special, we plan to release two audios for that week.
Next monday, return to Snape’s Diaries
for Christmas Cheer at Hogwarts. Mistletoe, Luck Potions and narrow escapes will greet you next week with the Episode 5.
Last week, it was our pleasure to bring to the Harry Potter fans, “Behind the Scenes at the Ministry of Magic.”
We hoped you enjoyed that little snippet between some great people (beware of the special item at the very end of the audio as you may be next). Please don’t forget, as with our other shows, we love comments, only at www.Misfitsaudio.com
If you are not a Misfit member on our Yahoo group section, you are missing some fun. We have two contests going on for just our Misfits friends. You can ask to join by checking out our front page and clicking on the Yahoo logo, and tell us a little about yourself. I heard we may be getting a bigger bus to take us all to the funny farm. “ROB”,
our Cyborg weather man, is back with Bert! By the way, his blood type is mixed, O+ with w10-40 weight oil. However the blood bank can do without the oil. LOL This time our great and wonderful weather guy, with Bert his Brother-in-law, travel up the Mountains of Sierra Madres, just him and Bert. What could possibly go wrong? Rightttttt . By the way the Hospital is still taking blood donations for ROB, just say www.Misfitsaudio.com
sent you. Please don’t forget, ROB loves to get e-mails!
Still on-- our Featured Audio “Gaia’s Voyages”
is set five hundred years in the future. The Zooship GAIA is huge – a flying city in space – and travels all over the galaxy fighting ecological disasters, saving endangered species and doing what she can to promote conservation. Her crew is very diverse from a parrot to a stuffy Brit to a bug for a vet and an over-amorous robotic Chief Engineer. I’m constantly blown away by how good all the performances are. This is not a Star Trek show and I think listeners are in for quite a surprise!
