Gaia’s Voyages is set five hundred years in the future. The Zooship GAIA is huge – a flying city in space – and travels all over the galaxy fighting ecological disasters, saving endangered species and doing what she can to promote conservation. Her crew is very diverse from a parrot to a stuffy Brit to a bug for a vet and an over-amorous robotic Chief Engineer. I’m constantly blown away by how good all the performances are. This is not a Star Trek show and I think listeners are in for quite a surprise!
