Internet Radio station looking for shows

Hi all...

In the process of setting up a internet radio station through shoutcast. At the moment I'm testing the feed and so far it's working. My plan is to feature new and classic audio drama, probably changing the play list once a week. I'm still in the early stages but I wanted to see if anyone was interested in having their shows broadcasted. I plan on recording station Ids, scheduling , and the such. I've seen tons of otr stations but nothing with new material. Anyway if your interested let me know.

Congrats and good luck with your station. I do beg to differ on one point, as Sound Stages Radio has been on the air for three years featuring the best of new audio theater. Check us out at Sound Stages Radio I figure the more the merrier. We'll be just like NBC and CBS.

I didn't see your station in my winamp app, but I've only looked in Otr...I've been listening and I have to say...awesome.

I'm just trying to figure the whole thing out..the only way I can get it to work is thru listen2myradio.com and it only works in the shoutcast/winamp app for a short time and the connection breaks. The only way to start it back up is to restart the stream and winamp. A real pain in the butt.

The listen2myradio links work fine but not as easy or cool as listening on ipod or andriod app.

I'd be very interested in knowing how you run your station, such as host, programs and the such. Thanks.

You don't have $8 a month? Cause that's all I'm paying.

I run things on an elderly PC through an internet connection here at my house. So long as my son, the gamer, isn't home from college, things run pretty smooth.

The automation program I like is Zara Radio which is free and has been working rock-solid in my attic studio for 3 years. Though I am thinking of switching to using one of my Macs and using Radiologik

For the casting, I use the Shoutcast plugin in Winamp. Oh, and that $8 I mentioned goes to Streamgeeks who are pretty good. Mostly, I ended up paying for a server because I could never find a path through my firewalls and whatnot.

Be patient, it does take a lot of time to get a streaming station working correctly. Write me if you like.
