TRIXIE: "How come you get to do B&E while I tail Betty Jennings to the grocers?" This line establishes Mrs. Jennings first name as Betty. However, later, in Trixie's "sore" monologue... TRIXIE: "...and gave instructions that they should be delivered to Mrs. Eleanor Jeninngs during business hours." So, not that she's an important character or anything, but which is it? Betty or Eleanor? Ick. I feel dirty. __________________ http://anartlawful.libsyn.com This is Timothy J. Meyer of An Art Lawful Productions. I've listened to this episode so much I can pretty much recite it, and I've never caught that. Good one! Now Gregg comes in with a creative explanation, and we get two stories for one. Win win. -Janice | | | 11-11-2008 | #4 | | Audiofile Gregg is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 1,888 | Wow. That took almost two and a half years. Yeah, I think we got away with that one for so long since Betty is short for Elizabeth, which don't sound that different. Thing is, that is absoluetly not the only time I switched the christian name of a tertiary character from one act to the next... it's just the only one I've been busted on so far. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather it didn't get through, and fulll marks on the ears, but if it got past me, a room full of actors and... wait, let me check... 10,106 downloads before it got spotted.... Well, I'm probably not gonna lose too much sleep over it | | | 11-11-2008 | #5 | | Audiofile stephensmat is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 341 | Well, maybe Trixie got confused because she was distracted by her righteous indignation... Maybe it was a disdainful colloquialism, like calling somebody "Suzy Homemaker." | Quote: | | | | | Thing is, that is absoluetly not the only time I switched the christian name of a tertiary character from one act to the next... it's just the only one I've been busted on so far. | | | | | #Sighs, pulls out notepad, starts at episode one...# I have been remiss that I didn't spot this myself. I can almost recite this one too. | | | | | | 11-14-2008 | #6 | | Hardboiled James Wolfe is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Moorhead, Minnesota Posts: 99 | | Quote: | | | | | Wow. And I appreciate it. Though I'm not sure that the Christian name of a character than never actually appears qualifies as a plot-hole... I rank it more long the lines of "typo"... but the convicted rarely get to pass their own sentence. | | | 11-17-2008 | #10 | | Audiodramaphile Pandamonium is offline Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Colorado Posts: 69 | I can't say I ever noticed the name change, but I can't help but grin every time I read the title.
