Hey everyone, a new audio theater convention, Celebrating Audio Theater - Old & New is starting this October in Newark, NJ. The first event is scheduled for October 12-13. We're going to feature 6-10 live performances, a mix of classic radio dramas from the golden age along with the best of modern audio drama.
The event is run by veterans of the Friends of Old Time Radio Convention, 1976-2011, who wanted to keep the old time radio party going but also make it more relevant to modern audiences.
We also feature panels, historical presentations, celebrity guests, memorabilia, all that fan convention kind of stuff.
What we need right now (along with ticket sales) is proposals to perform or otherwise participate.

Tickets run from $20 - $55 depending on the day/evening program and meals.
