Info:

Cloak and Dagger opened over the NBC network on May 7, 1950. It had a short run through the Summer on Sundays, changing to Fridays after its Summer run. The last show aired Oct. 22, 1950.

The series told fictional stories of OSS agents during World War II who took dangerous missions behind enemy lines, knowing they may never return alive.

The theme music was either identical or very similar to that used by Tales of the Texas Rangers.

Sherman Marks directed. The cast consisted of The Hungarian Giant, played by Raymond Edward Johnson, and Impy, the Midget, played by Gilbert Mack.

Having listened to the frist 3 eps- I am now addicted to this one as well!

Anthology-like in tone, with a new cast of characters each ep- all on order from the OSS
lots of intrigue/double crossing/and fights to the death and nasty Nazis on
the hunt for Spies. Some the hero lives, and some they don't make it though the info gained helps the Allied Cause- and all are fictional accounts based on real WW2 stories (according to the audio) and based on the book Cloak and Dagger co-written by Alister McBain.

The Intrigue laden city of Casablanca even shows up in ep 3 "Trojan Horse":
(My fave thus far tho have loved them all)

More info:

Cloak and Dagger opened over the NBC network on May 7, 1950. It had a short run through the Summer on Sundays, changing to Fridays after its Summer run. The last show aired Oct. 22, 1950.

The series told fictional stories of OSS agents during World War II who took dangerous missions behind enemy lines, knowing they may never return alive.

The series was based on the 1946 book "Cloak and Dagger: The Secret Story of the OSS". It was a tense half hour of patriots and traitors, of triumph, tragedy and failure. The stories did not always end in success -- sometimes, the hero/agent gave up his life. There were 22 episodes, broadcast in 1950.

The theme music was either identical or very similar to that used by Tales of the Texas Rangers.

Sherman Marks directed. The cast consisted of The Hungarian Giant, played by Raymond Edward Johnson, and Impy, the Midget, played by Gilbert Mack.

Hilter youth teenager's mother is part of the underground, sharpened bamboo stakes take out a "Rising Sun" Patrol in Burma, saving a relative (who is part of the OSS) in berlin by calling a bombing raid on yourself, these are but a few of the dark highlights of this series.

Simply AWESOME

I have actually had a couple "Holy SH--!" moments when the story flipped on itself and caught me off guard.
