In prior seasons, except for the first couple of seasons, the Red Panda was revealed to be August Fenwick and in every season the Flying Squirrel was known to be Kit Baxter and later Kit Baxter Fenwick. This season, August Fenwick is no longer mentioned as the secret identity of the Red Panda. This makes sense since John Doe is now acting as the Red Panda. However, Kit Baxter is no longer introduced as the secret identity of the Flying Squirrel. This makes me wonder if soon someone else will fill in that role. Something to ponder. | | | 11-01-2011 | #12 | | Audiofile Undrave is offline Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Quebec, Canada Posts: 1,303 | Gregg the ep is gone! Works fine in the player now and just downloaded a complete file. Sorry 'bout that. Clear your cache and grab it now. | | | 11-01-2011 | #14 | | Audiofile Undrave is offline Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Quebec, Canada Posts: 1,303 | Just did! It was excellent! But you are quite the tease! This felt like 70% set up for the future! The avorted zombie apocalypse was pretty much b-plot! | | | | | | 11-01-2011 | #15 | | Quiet Little Fangirl Zapatos is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 85 | | Quote: | | | | | Ok, great ep, really! and we've finally got another expected and interesting thing that has happened. BUT I am almost getting tired of the suspense of waiting to see Augie and resolve that plot! Particularly with the month between shows.. Its almost painful | | | | | I haven't minded the switching back and forth between shows (in fact, I've quite enjoyed getting a monthly dose of Black Jack!), but for it to be during this particular season of RP has been downright torturous! Oh man, what DIDN'T this episode have?! The walking dead, Professor Zombie, and a huge jump forward in our overall plot? Be still my heart! Kit has continuously blown me away this season. She's the toughest woman alive, but you get the distinct feeling that she's been pushed right up to the breaking point; the relief in her voice when she realizes that Weston's on her side is palpable. (Also: Weston!) Clarissa's been doing an amazing job this season! And on a side note: I grew up watching Batman the Animated Series, and Mark Hamill has been my Joker ever since. The thought that he's laying down the mantle is a little heartbreaking to me, and Gregg's tribute literally made me start tearing up. Thanks for that, Mister Taylor. | | | | 11-02-2011 | #16 | | Ramen Enthusiast Betani is offline Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: NW Indiana (Chicagoland) Posts: 60 | | Quote: | | | | | It is, of course, entirely possible that I resolved the storyline when I blew up the plane. I'm just sayin'... | | | | | Gregg. Dearest. Please... PLEASE tell me you haven't been taking script-writing lessons from J.J. Abrams.... __________________ | Quote: | | | | "'And I suppose you know what sound is made by one hand clapping, do you?' said the holy man nastily. YES. CL. Totally dead. Didn't write another word about him for 10 years dead. And then, admittedly he wasn't | | | | | While its true that Doyle was "sick" of Holmes, and wanted to finish him off for good, in the end, he couldn't. He had to bring him back. LOL And please don't even consider making us wait 10 years to find out that RP is still alive!!! Ten years in "podcast time" is one thing (could happen in one episode), but ten calendar years is another thing...hey, I might not even be alive in 10 years! __________________ "Caution! 'cause that would make a grown bald-man with a van dyke cry. Gregg, have you ever seen a grown bald-man with a van dyke cry? It's not pretty. Just say 'no' to killing Gus... the children and bald men everywhere will thank you. | | | | | | 11-03-2011 | #20 | | Audiofile stephensmat is offline Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 339 | Guys, something we've all seemed to have forgotten here, is that Gregg writes these shows about a season in advance. It's probably already been recorded. The dice have rolled, and if he's done the dramatic thing and killed The Man, then none of this is gonna help. I wonder if The Major would have brought Professor in on this is she knew RP called her 'Antonia'. Robots are not bullet-proof, and they don't flirt with the bad guys. The longer it takes Gus to come back, the more convinced I am he's going to reappear in a rather diabolical way. He's been gone too long to simply be dodging traffic. And if it takes much longer, he's going to find the city's criminals glad to have the real RP back, a Mini-Squirrel running around, and his wife, the robot and the butler in the middle of a secret society style conspiracy. Kits running out of steam though. She's got to change the way the whole operation does business because right now she's dramatically short on agents, hypnosis, saucy banter and sleep. She's got to redesign the whole game or she will lose, plain and simple. BTW, isn't 'loose fitting cat-suit' a contradiction? | | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | | All times are GMT -5.
