Default The Perry Mason Radio Dramas

The Colonial Radio Theatre will be producing THE PERRY MASON RADIO DRAMAS. We're still working out some final details, and all looks good! This will be the first time the original books by Erle Stanley Gardner have been fully dramatized for audio theater. We are starting with book 1, THE CASE OF THE VELVET CLAWS, and two more are already in pre-production. We are staying with the period of the books, which begin in 1933 California.

Beyond good news.
Talking to Jerry about this in the Interview last night (among other things... like the origin of Dibble!), I found myself getting really excited.
I've never been a crime fiction buff... although I loved the Sherlock Holmes stories,.. but , I admit to getting a certain thrill at the thought of Perry coming out of retirement ESPECIALLY knowing they are stories that are adaptations from Earl Stanley Gardiner's original novels!

I admit that I do not know much about Perry Mason, but after Googling and Wikipedia-ing for Perry Mason, I got very interested. I am excited.
