The stranger returning during Kim's time! Stranger and Red Squirrel team up! In the future!! Make it a summer special Gregg, please!!! | | | | | Ooh, interesting dynamic! On a tangent, I wonder if there is any woman that the Stranger can't charm... __________________ | Quote: | | | | "'And I suppose you know what sound is made by one hand clapping, do you?' said the holy man nastily. Does he have any family (or love children from his past). Is there any chance the Stranger's legacy would live on into future generations? | | | 05-27-2011 | #33 | | Audiofile KitJackson67 is offline Join Date: Oct 2010 Posts: 161 | | Quote: | | | | | Okay, not related to the cliffhanger in any way, but I’ve always had the feeling that the head honcho of whatever organization The Red Squirrel works for in (our) near-future is an extremely aged man who has been in the business for a long, long time. No one on the team is sure of his real identity, but he goes by the code name, “Black Cap”. . . | | | | | I love it. Can you imagine the bedtime stories Harry Kelly will tell his children and grandchildren. Better yet, what will he tell his future wife when he comes home late? She's going to think he's cheating on her, unless he marries another agent. | | | 05-27-2011 | #34 | | Audiofile davidg is offline Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Brooklyn NY Posts: 670 | | Quote: | | | | | Hmm... speaking of hero legacies... we don't really know much about the Stranger do we? I would tend to doubt there would be any OTHER than those he chose to teach. First, the asceticism of the interest would tend to make him more of a loner, on top of the superhero archetype of protecting others by not letting them get too close, would make him a rather "singular" figure. I don't think you'd have any Ms. Stranger.. or Kid Stranger Jr. He also would have been WELL knowledgeable of the Merlin-meme where the student entraps/kills the teacher. __________________ "Between subtle shading and the absence of light lies the nuance of illusion." - Deciphered text from the CIA's Kryptos by James Sanborn. | | | 05-28-2011 | #35 | | Panda-Maniac ElvenBookwyrm is offline Join Date: May 2008 Location: Toronto, ON Posts: 455 | Okay, new theory for the opening of next season. Wentworth James and "George Flynn" are captured by enemy soldiers, sans both memory and jetpack, and the Nazis are trying their evil best to regain at least one of the two. After some sort of opening monologue, the German VonGerman-analogue and his henchmen file out of the room, leaving behind one doctor... ...who speaks a code word. Both Gus and James regain their memories, and with a certain familiar sound effect, the doctor reveals himself to be one Brian McSweenie. Their plan is in place, the captured agents have been located, and it's time to spring into action. | | | 05-28-2011 | #36 | | Audiofile KitJackson67 is offline Join Date: Oct 2010 Posts: 161 | | Quote: | | | | | Okay, new theory for the opening of next season. Although part of me is hoping for a "The Great Escape" type plot. | | | 05-29-2011 | #37 | | Audio Fan alldogship is offline Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Canada, Montreal Posts: 79 | I completely forgot, Tom Tomorrow is supposed to be part of this war. | | | 05-29-2011 | #38 | | Audio Newbie RocketJock is offline Join Date: May 2011 Location: The San Francisco Bay Area Posts: 3 | He already was, quite early on, and fatally. | | | 05-29-2011 | #39 | | Audiofile Undrave is offline Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Quebec, Canada Posts: 1,303 | | Quote: | | | | | I completely forgot, Tom Tomorrow is supposed to be part of this war. | | | | | Tom Tomorrow valiantly sacrificed himself to stop a flying fortress from attacking London. I can't help but think he might have escaped to his own time at the last second or something. Ya know, when you consider he was coming back to 'Make his stand with the forces of Light' and 'follow his Destiny" you can't help but wonder if he KNEW he wouldn't be coming back home alive?! Knowing he went back in time fully aware his destiny was to DIE back then to save the world?! that takes guts! | | | 05-29-2011 | #40 | | Audiofile davidg is offline Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Brooklyn NY Posts: 670 | | Quote: | | | | | Okay, new theory for the opening of next season. I like it, which of course, means it will be something completely different! __________________ "Between subtle shading and the absence of light lies the nuance of illusion." - Deciphered text from the CIA's Kryptos by James Sanborn. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | | All times are GMT -5.
