Spoiler Alert!

Squirrel jr strikes me as young, not because of the voice but because she?s somewhat inexperienced. First, Kit would have seen what?s-his-name going for the concealed gun a mile away. If Squirrel jr?s costume wasn?t bulletproof, she?d be dead. Plus, there?s the fact that the new girl was fooled by his ?You can come out now? bluff, followed by her stammering her way through meeting the Red Panda, a trait that was not shared by Baboon during their meet, as he was obviously more experienced.

I won?t speak too much further on that, except to say that it was a good, evil, clever, heartless move to have him avoid the immediate question that every listener, regular, irregular, and Decoder Dork started shouting at their MP3 players, when they heard the words ?Great-great-granddaughter.?

Still, it?s pretty clear who her family was, given that she apparently had some mind powers of her own. Enough to make a thug fall asleep on command, and put up a fight to a hypnosis attack.

(How did I miss this ShowBot posting this morning? I've been looking for it. Sigh.)

So, the Red Squirrel is there to save either Kit or the Boss or both. And Kit is her great-great-grandmother. So how could the Red Panda NOT be her ancestor as well? And why could she reveal herself to him but not her?

Don't fret, show bot doesn't post it right to this thread, he has to drop it in a side area to be moved..

Ah the beauty and bane of time travel, she never said she wasn't related to him, and (being so smart) he didn't ask. She could have easily told Kit, but knowing her .. er.. questioning methods it could have ended with her altering the time line..

okay.. way to much geeking on this one.

A great episode, although since she must have been trained by RP (hence her limited ability to block him) or at least Kit, she'd have been ready for the ploy.

While I'm not a "time travel as an answer" story fan, there were some great lines.

...Heh heh heh heh.... "Decoder Dork"... that's hysterical.. love it.

The relationship debate is interesting, but I can honestly report that it never occurred to him.

I should point out that hypnosis in not an inherent ability but a learned skill, and that a crime fighter inspired by our heroes would almost certainly have studied it.

Yes, I think you're right... in her timeline I think she is newer at this.

But still, why could she tell Panda and not Squirrel? Did he just not get that she was descended from both of them?

Yeah, I was looking for that little Dalek all day too.

My first reaction to the title was that it was going to be a story about a Red Panda/Flying Squirrel descendant . But my first thought was Max, the first descendant...but I knew better. I remember the story of the kids making up the Red Squirrel from an old interview. My kids always needed another male sidekick character.

As for the story... what can I say? Gregg NEVER lets us down. Great show, yet again!

Well, I got that from the Panda's line that the Red Squirrel had to come back to save Squirrel or Panda or both. So I just assumed ...

I was expecting her to be a Flying Squirrel nemesis.
