Zombies, Run! a.d. soundtrack/game for runners

Just saw a mention of this new item on G4TV, a cable TV show devoted to computer gaming, nerd culture, etc.

Zombies, Run! seems to be a smart phone app that gives you an audio drama to accompany your actual running/jogging sessions. It uses the GPS built into your device to track how far and how fast you are moving, then drops in a series of progressively menacing audio messages about a Zombie attack developing all around you.

Also seems to have an element for computer gamers to let you "gather" virtual resources/weapons along your path and add them to your stockpile on your home computer for a related activity/game.

So, this is not for everyone, but if you are into all three activities = running, gaming and audio drama, then this might be of interest.

Costs less than $10 and comes with a certain number of "missions" built in, with the prospect of more available later.

Hmm... I almost want to get a smart phone now. That might be the only thing that would actually get me to LIKE running.
