Casting call for new anthology series: SMALL WORLDS

Misfits Audio is looking to cast some roles for the first episode of a new anthology series of short tales, tentatively entitled SMALL WORLDS. Voice descriptions and sample lines are listed below. The deadline for auditions is July 9. Please submit your auditions to jawunicorn at aol dot com and click at nbnet dot nb dot ca. Please note that this is a non-paying production, and union status does not matter. Many thanks for your interest.

AGENT: Male, 30-ish. The ‘agent’ has a government job and probably feels it beneath his intelligence. There’s a degree of blasé indifference in his dialogue. His ‘client’ is just another number, another job placement.

LINE 1: Fifty-eight. Number fifty-eight.
LINE 2: Maybe you’re just in a slump.

CLIENT: Female, 50s. This venerable professional is fed up with the declining standards in the biz. She is eloquent, articulate, discerning and, fortunately, open to adventure. No phony accents, please; this woman is a class act all the way.

LINE 1: You’d think seniority would mean something, but there’s no respect these days, no standards.
LINE 2: Why not! How bad could it be?

RECORDING AND CONTACT INFORMATION:
- Record in format: 44100hz, 128-bit Stereo MP3.
- Save the lines as "SW1_charactername_yourname_audition.mp3."
If you are chosen, we will be asking you to do your lines THREE TIMES EACH, each time a little differently, so the mixer can pick the best take.
