The X-Files - Quantum
Based on the widely acclaimed Fox television series, BrokenSea is taking a fresh look at this cultural icon.
Quantum is the beginning of a new evolution of investigations in to X-File cases. While based within the accepted X-Files universe, Quantum follows the investigations of two new Federal Agents who, while at first similar to Mulder and Scully, quickly show that their ideology and motivation are not always what they appear.
This is a full cast, full season series. Many roles will be recurring, and will require a good deal of time commitment. Please take this in to consideration when auditioning for major roles.
Please record all auditions in 44100 mhz, 192kbps stereo MP3 or WAV
Please name your auditions as follows: X_Files_{charactername}_{yourname}

Everett Johnson a simple good ole boy from Texas.
EVERETT: <scared> It'sthem missing steers. A dozen of 'em, like they bin turned inside-outSheriff. Most dead when I found `em. Flies bin' at `em for a day.
EVERETT: No ma'am. No. I aint' never going back up that mountain again. I don't care if they keep me locked up in here forever as long as I don't never need to see that again. I got me a cot, 3 squares and a little window to let the lightin on nice days.
Sheriff Kyle SHERIFF: (shocked) Who in hell would do this to cattle?
SHERIFF: (crazed) When I'm done skinnin you boy, then you'll know what pain it. Then I'll be addin your bones to the pile outside. You're nothin' more than one of them steer that drag themselves up to the hillside to die.
Clark good old boy Texan
CLARK: Afternoon. Looks like youfolks got some trouble brewing.
CLARK: <off mic> A'yuh. Just head on it to town proper and you won't miss it. Course the Sheriff's not been around lately, but again, by the looks of you two, ya'llalready knew that didn't ya? C'mon Eddie, I'll help you get this car hooked up to yer truck. Danged Feds all look alike.
Agent Kara Cooper intellectual, tough and no nonsense
COOPER: Those are deer tracks andthose look like rabbit bones. My father used to take me hunting as achild. Since he didn't have any little boys to bring along, I was the next best thing. Daddy's little girl. Toting ammo and hauling supplies.
COOPER: It looks like it's been cutaway, but by layers. Look at how the skin within the site looks hallowed out, like someone whittled the skin away until the mark was gone.
Eddie Gliding Eagle an American Indian. Deadpan delivery
EDDIE: Yeah, but the man has nice taste in shoes.
EDDIE: The Story goes that there have been cattle coming up here to die for generations. Everyone around here knows of it, but it is not spoken of. At least it was not until Everett Johnson brought Sheriff Kyle up here. That was foolish...What they wanted was a peaceful sharing of knowledge, but there is only madness now. Hear the chanting of the ancient ones. It was once holy. Now it is profane. A plague on the land.
Gladys Sharpe 70 year old Deputy Sheriff. She is "in charge"
GLADYS: Alright Everett. That's enough story tellin for one day. Yer lunch will be in shortly andI'm sure the fine Agent would like to check on his car.
GLADYS: We found him crossing over State Route 32. He seemed to be coming from the area on of Grave's Mountain, clear as we could tell from the path he made through the fields. From the looks of him he'd been walkin a while, and looked like he would have kept on walkin clear across the state if Deputy Dandon wouldn't have brought him in.
Deputy Dandon - younger Deputy Sheriff. Dead pan delivery
DEPUTY: Interim Sheriff Gladys Sharpe has asked me to fetch you back to town. Please follow close to me as the roads are tricky at night.
DEPUTY:That won't be happening ma'am. I thin you better come with me.
Lily McGraw heavy Texan accent. Slightly older and eccentric
LILY: <off mic – slightly muffled> Seems that way. Only hotel establishment in town since The Greenbow Inn got such a poor review in the Balstone Stock andFeed Catalog
Doctor practical,
DOCTOR: Yup. Initially my professional opinion was heart attack. Everett was never going todie of anything but obesity related heart-disease.
Nurse NURSE: Agent Cooper? You're still here? Did you need me to call someone for you?
