Welcome back, friends, warriors and wizards, dragons and dwarves, to Episode 9 of the Saga of the Grog and Gryphon tavern!

This night our dark tale begins in the island port of Swordswaggle; fiefdom of the DUKE of WYDENBOG, on the river Stigiar. Moored near the long bridge leading into this dark port, Olaff has gotten the crew of the Lady Wrath to start repair work and clean-up while Reyna, Arullia and De V’Raltro have trod off into Swordswaggle in search of supplies for the ship refit. Though a seemingly simple task, the adventurers find that the streets of Wydenbog’s island keep are far darker the deeper they go and the adder’s eyes are watching….

While many, many, long leagues away, other questors are on a march to the Grog and Gryphon tavern in the D’Annulshire Forest. Acetegan, Alithia and Duro D’un have gone in search of the missing Amber Bane and have run across talking Corbies of the dark with ominous utterances and an even darker mistress!

Finally, fate looks on Bane Renbourne even as he parleys with Alganoir and Silverr-O at the blood Queen Beladonna’s Dark Keep in Tercia; making them an offer they can neither refuse or tolerate…

Just another dark tale of Honor, blood, mysticism and betrayal in the Saga of the Grog and Gryphon…

Being as my original Fantasy Audio Drama “The Saga of the Grog and Gryphon” returns today, and the fact that I live in west Texas, home to my favorite author of all things barbaric and fantasy, I thought it appropriate that the Swag Cast lend it’s audio to Power Records this groovy night and check out a warrior from the north who trod the lands, broadsword at his side and blood lust in his heart, under his sandaled feet … Even threw in a surprise sure to warm the hearts of all who battle in the northern realms… I am going to ask that Jesse doesn’t pimp this episode of fantasy Audio Drama at the SwagCast as we battle Set’s serpents at the Sea; for they canst be right bit nasty…

For foul Corbies be in the air, and methinks that all shouldst hear the glory and enjoy a tankard whilst listening without having to spill thine grog pon’ the floor as thou battles the Raywal (spell it backwards or listen to the Grog and Gryphon ep 9) Hordes of the audio realms…

I loved the Power Records trip down memory lane. I always saw slugs a bit different after reading/listening to that one "barbarian" comic/album as a kid.

And it was great to have the Grog return! Your mastering has become even more , well, Masterful Bill! Good work everyone involved!... horns of mead for everyone!!

And the Corbies was a wonderful bit of ontological and 'poetic' anarchy/resistance (as Hakim Bey would put it)! Down with the evil forces of Reywal!
